Telephone service for Enforcement Services introduces the possibility of strong identification
As of 1 February 2024, you can identify yourself strongly in Legal Register Centre’s telephone service when calling customer service in matters related to fines and payment. To identify yourself, you need a smartphone with an internet connection. When you are queuing, a link is sent to the smartphone via SMS, which leads to identification in the Suomi.fi service.
You can still contact our telephone service in matters related to fines and payment, even if you are unable to identify yourself strongly. In this case, identification is carried out by the customer service representative by other means.
The possibility of strong identification will be introduced in Legal Register Centre’s telephone service for enforcement matters due to, among other things, legislative amendments to the Data Protection Act. Customer’s strong identification improves personal data protection and also speeds up the service.
